Ciragan Palace, built 20 years after Dolmabahce. Most of the palace burned down in 1910, but a hotel chain offered to restore the palace in exchange for being allowed to build a hotel complex next door. The hotel, Kempinski Ciragan, has hosted famous guests such as Bill Clinton and George HW Bush.
