| Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square. At the top of the hour, twelve apostles parade by the windows at the top. The outer ring of clock face (gold on black) shows Bohemian time (hour 24 is sunset), the Roman numerals on the adjacent inner ring is modern time. We got there around sunset, apparently. Also note the golden sun (on same axis as the hours hand) travelling between the blue, red, and black areas (corresponding to day, dawn/dusk, and night) |
